  8. DESCRIPTION
  9.  
  10. Causes random files of your choice to be copied to T: in such a way that
  11. just about any program can use them.  Possibilities are endless.
  12.  
  13. Example: Use random Backdrops, Patterns, Sounds with Workbench and MUI.
  14.  
  15. Ideas: Have random button/toolbars for YAM, transfer animations for IBrowse,
  16.     animated icons, Mods for Delitracker, scripts to do anything!!!

  21. Other programs that do this are lame. ;)

  23. It doesn't slow down your boot time (much).

  25. Can be used with virtually any program.

  28. REQUIREMENTS
  29.  
  30. -Amiga   (or Draco I guess, or even UAE I suppose... just remember: YOUR 
  31.     LICENSE TO USE THIS SOFTWARE DOES NOT ALLOW FOR YOU TO USE IT IN AN
  32.     AMIGA EMULATOR UNLESS YOU OWN A REAL LIFE AMIGA COMPUTER!!!!!)

  34. -AmigaOS (should work in all versions, but I have only tested it in 2.0,
  35.     2.04,    2.05, 2.1, 3.1, and 3.5)

  37. -Some free space in T:     (how much depends entirely on how big the files you 
  38.     use are)
  39.     
  40. -A minimum of 12K free diskspace somewhere
  41.     
  42. -A brain (or equivalent)

  45. INSTALLATION
  46.  
  47. -Create a drawer in ENVARC: called RandomScenery
  48.  
  49. -Copy RandomScenery somewhere and remember where you put it (C: is as good a
  50.     place as any)
  51.     
  52. -Now for the tedious part: Edit your S:Startup-Sequence:
  53.  
  54.     BEFORE the line that says "C:IPrefs", insert a line that says 
  55.     "Execute >NIL: S:Scenery-Sequence".
  56.     Right before the line that says "EndCLI >NIL:", insert a line that says
  57.     "{Progdir:}RandomScenery A={APath} B={BPath}" where {Progdir} is where you 
  58.     put    RandomScenery (remember?) and APath and BPath are directories where you
  59.     have put some files that you want selected randomly.  You can have up to 26
  60.     paths with the names "A" through "Z", (kinda like PC hard drives :) and you
  61.     can have multiple paths that point to the same directory.  You don't have
  62.     to use A and B, you can use N, Q, W, B, and I if you want.

  64. -Reboot twice (Don't ask.  Just shut up and do it.)

  66. -Run the program(s) that you want to use the random files in (like WBPattern)
  67.   and use the files called T:RSA, T:RSB, T:RSQ, etc.  The last letter is the
  68.   letter you used two steps ago.

  73. Only the first 255 files in each directory will be used.  (Blame my laziness)
